1.) NHM IS EMBRACING CAFE-CULTURE BECAUSE IT WORKS SO WELL WITH OUR CURRENT LIMITATIONS. all services are first come, first serve
2.) we dont have the ability to respond to many special requests that we typically would respond to-- thank you for your patience
3.) we will HAVE CAFE SERVICE AS OPPOSED TO traditional table service at Our venues. Once you choose a seat you will enter our virtual queue and we will text you when we are ready to serve you where you will approach our register and order. This will help ensure everyone's safety and will also help us manage our team-dynamics.
4.) all bills will have a mandatory 18% gratuity. not only will this prevent you from having to get back in the queue to close out a check (we can close it out automatically daily), it will also help ensure that we can retain the team that we have and that the restaurant can afford the team that we have.
5.) with so many new team members trying to learn something new, haute (the rooftop) will be credit-card only.
6.) our drink menu has been streamlined as we strive for as smooth an operation as possible with limited team resources and we also try to systematically sell through our inventory to help with our overall cash flow.
7.) the sit-down brasserie is closed for now. our cafe menu will have a dish or two from our old menu, but we have no choice but to streamline how we operate for the time-being. that being said, we think we have put together a great menu-- especially because you can also bring food up and down from any of our venues as you wish. see the menus at mertensmenu.com
